I think both manufacturers have high quality tanks its the stands that have been lacking.

. Make sure its rated to or above the total gallons including sump. I would personally get the Waterbox. No waterbox but my lfs scrapped all his Redsea and replaced w waterbox tanks everywhere. The plywood cabinet is sturdy and water-resistant.
